Previously part of the Limousin, France has decreased its number of regions and fused the Haute-Vienne department (which was known as the Limousin together with the Creuse and Correze). Although its name has disappeared, its local products such as the Limousin cow and its porcelain will remain.
Coussac-Bonneval is located in an unspoilt part of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, with little tourism. This allows for a unique, French experience while dining between the locals. Enjoy your piece of Limousin steak from our local butcher or visit one of the regions many fresh produce markets to get your vegetables and spices.
